About Nyssa:

​

Nyssa is the fastest dog we have ever owned  she is basically lungs with legs. She has a tight coat and is a super affectionate dog. She has a strong retrieve drive and a lot of point in her. She has been a natural backer.  She did well on desert quail, valley quail and chukars.

​

Nyssa came from an exceptional  litter. Nyssa and seven of her littermates received  a prize one in their NAVHDA Natural Ability Test. Nyssa's Sire Trek comes from a pairing of some of the nicest dogs from Wireswest kennel and Claddagh kennel. Trek is a talented dog that is big running and hits the water hard. Trek is a young stud but has produced two impressive litters. 

 

 Nyssa's dam  Blue has been an incredible producer of quality pups. Blue’s litters have produced nineteen exceptional puppies, they had an average Natural Ability test score of 109.8/112 points and four of her pups have placed in the German Wirehair Pointer Club of America's National Horseback derby Field Trial (2nd ,3rd place finishes in 2019, 4th place in 2021 and 4th place in 2022). Two of her puppies placed first and third in the GWPCA Puppy Classic in 2022.
