About Notus:

Notus is co-owned with Brandon Smith owner of Evergreen Kennels in Washington. Notus is a fantastic young male from our “N" Litter. He is a big running chukar dog who has had many wild birds shot over him. He is pointing very well and steady for his age. He has a natural retrieve but we will be force fetching him. He got a 112 Prize 1 in his NAVHDA Natural Ability test handled by a 13 year old. He took 3rd place in the GWPCA national Puppy Classic in 2022. As of September he is ranked 5th in GWPCA Top Ten Derby/Puppy Field Trials 2022. He has 3 Points towards his Field Champion title. 

Notus came from an exceptional  litter. Notus and seven of his littermates received  a prize one in their NAVHDA Natural Ability Test. Notus's Sire Trek comes from a pairing of some of the nicest dogs from Wireswest kennel and Claddagh kennel. Trek is a talented dog that is big running and hits the water hard. Trek is a young stud but has produced two impressive litters. 

 

 Notus's dam, Blue has been an incredible producer of quality pups. Blue’s litters have produced nineteen exceptional puppies, they had an average Natural Ability test score of 109.8/112 points and four of her pups have placed in the German Wirehair Pointer Club of America's National Horseback derby Field Trial (2nd ,3rd place finishes in 2019, 4th place in 2021 and 4th place in 2022). Two of her pups placed first and third in the GWPCA Puppy Classic in 2022.
